About Me

I am a software engineer with a passion for building scalable, resilient systems. I have a background in computer science and entrepreneurship. I am currently working as a software developer at Bitly in Austin, TX.

I have built and managed Edge systems at WP Engine responsible for routing over a million domains correctly to sites.

Prior to that, I worked at JP Morgan Chase & Co. building and evangelizing internal front and back end frameworks, as well as systems processing and repairing ATM transactions

In my free time I like to read, lift weights, play and watch soccer. I’m a big fan of Chelsea FC and getting lost in a good fantasy novel.

November 2025 - Present

I am currently working as a software engineer at Bitly in Austin, TX. My focus is on designing new systems that will improve the performance of core Bitly product while also trying to think of new features and products to add to the Bitly platform

  • Develop cloud native Golang services orchestrated by Kubernetes and deployed to GCP via Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
  • Create and manage routing configuration in a Golang service to enable customers to access their web content, providing routing and a CDN via a vendor integration
  • Implement rollout of routing layer to over 2 million domains, driving 40% customer adoption over 3 years
